The stacked plate coolers are excellent and B&M has been in the business as long as anybody.   :2thumbs:

Very Cheap insurance in my opinion

Thats pretty much the same I used in mine (mine was a bit bigger as well)  except without the barbed ends.  Mine were threaded to accept hard lines.

This is the one I used

Install the tranny cooler on the RETURN line from the radiator to the tranny.

If you put the tranny cooler plumbed-up before the fluid gets into the radiator, then if the fluid gets cooler than 180-190 from it, it will get heated back up a little by the stock rad & engine coolant in it.  But if you get the fluid going from the tranny, to the rad, to the aftermarket fluid cooler, it can get steadily cooler on each step before getting back to the tranny.

The B&M stacked plate coolers are awesome.  :2thumbs:

I allways run them as a stand alone unit bypassing the radiator.....keeps the engine and trans running cooler.  ;)
