spot lights?

were these lights put on by the factory or is this just something added on?  maybe just cop cars?  car has been in a used car lot here just east out of town of North Bend, thought is was a fury i seen in Preston for sale a few years ago that had the same motor as my car.........

While I believe it was available as part of a package for fleet buyers of cop cars, on that Coronet it was definitely an aftermarket item.  If you look hard enough, they can still be found in the aftermarket today even though it was a more commonly purchased thing in the late 50's.
