The springs will actually fit the car, you will be better off with a stronger spring, As heavy as those cars are (I have a 73 S/E) I would buy new springs adn I would add the rear bar. I am using the R/T springs and adding a rear bar. I'm trying to upgrade all I can because I am going from a 318 to a nice 400.

HD springs are 7 and 6.  the 7 spring goes on the passenger side and 6 spring goes on the drivers side.
