Hi guys i'm selling a load of old parts and I have 2 Hurst Shifters, anyone know how I could go about decoding the numbers/writing on them? One came off my old 1968 Charger and the other didn't fit/line up properly although I believe it to fit a Mopar, the 1st one has on it

820211S Hurst US Patents re 255561 3216274 3306126 Patents Pending 0029

The 2nd has on it

Hurst Competition Plus Patent Pending 2003

Any ideas? Thanks for any help

On the one that came from the '68, look for a 4-digit number on the longest (Reverse) lever on the shifter mechanism. Here's a few from factory Hurst shifters:

2336= '64-'65 A & B Body

6353= '68-'69 B Body and '68-up A body

7174= '70 only B Body

7180= '70-'74 E Body and '71-up B Body
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
