Where are engine #'s located on small blocks, specifically a 318?

They are stamped into the block just below the head on the driver's side.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

on SB the CI as stated just below the head in front of #1 cilinder

Serial Number stamped at passenger side just above the oil pan. In the middle of block.

Casting at driver side, just below manifolds
