Hi,
I am going to buy harness for my 69 b-body (charger big block). Have some question:

1) I cant find the harness for the 3 speed wiper motor and backup light etc. only find for 2 speed. Is that harness the same for 2 and 3 speed? If no, were can I find the 3 speed harness???

2) The automatic transmission harness (neutral and backup light) is hooked up to the start relay (brown) but were do I hook up the backup light cables?

3) I have msd ignition box, blaster coil and the billet msd distibutor. Must be the best to buy engine harness for point distributor and splice the wires to the ballast resistor (who I not have or use). Then hook the blue wire for the coil to the ignition box???

Many questions...

Thanks!

Just to get you started, I suggest you call these people and they might be able to help you with the harness questions.  They make them.

give them a call, nice people.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Here's the thread on my msd install with pics and even a crappy video at the end.

Hopefully it will help with your coil question.  Lots of good advice from other members when I installed this.  Give it a read.

Would it be cheaper for me to call them for you then?  I can call long distance in the US for free.

Please write out the exact questions word for word that you would like me to ask them(in case anything has changed from your first post)

If the above questions are what you need to say then I will go with that.

Let me know.

I am quite sure that the wiring harness for the 3 speed wiper motor is wired directly to the motor with a plug that connects to the bulkhead connector.

There are wiring diagrams on this site, I have posted them a few times.  Take an indepth look around.

:icon_smile_big: Very kind of you, thanks.

I have 3 speed wiper motor and I think they only have harness for 2 speed. Please ask if it fit 3 speed to. If not, ask if it easy to modify it so I can use it to my 3 speed.

Thanks again!

No sweat, they don't take calls until 5-10pm EST.  So i'll have to wait until then.

Wow, might not have to call after all on the wiper question, but i'll still call on the NSS for you..

Read this thread and let me know if it answers your questions.

This thread has some pretty good info.

OK about the Neutral Safety switch question.

Here's a link to 69 wire diagrams.  Let's see if we can find that answer there.

Did your ignition question get answered from the first thread link I posted?

I think so, I buy the harness for point ignition instead for the engine harness for electric ignition. Since I dont need the wiring for the ecu.

Then I think the only thing a need for the msd ignition box is just to splice the cables for wiring the ballast togheter and hook them to my msd box (red)....

I believe that is correct sir.

Good luck.

Let me know if we need to research the Neutral safety switch further.

I'm just curious were to hook up the backup light cables but I think it's to plug who goes to the bulk central. Brown is to the start relay that I'm sure about....
