Hey hey everybody. On my 73 Charger there is a rubber piece between the front and rear bumpers. Looks like a filler or something. Are these reproduced? Has anyone takin them off and left them off. Has anyone used something else? I don't really care for the look of it and was just wondering. Thanks.

Yes, is a bumper filler. Was to fill the gap with body and get more space between bumper and body to save rest of body on a small collision.

Reproduced, not yet. Chargerkid is working on.

What ppl has been doing is removing and getting closer the bumper to body to save the gap. Front bumper is easy just enlarging lower brackets to frame holes to get it closer... Rear bumper even IS A LOT MORE EASIER because is a plug and play job, the hardest part is try to find a 71/72 brackets assembly to sit it closer. Then from exterior just will be slightly visible the corner filler studs

JUST GOT DONE PULLING IN MY REAR BUMPER ON MY 74. EASY AS CAKE. TOOK ALL OF 25 MINUTES AND LOOKS GREAT. I USED 72 BRACKETS.

Does anyone know where I can get the 71/72 brackets? I guess they would have to be found used.

Go to the parts wanted section. Also visit Dodge-Charger online for 3rd Gen parts.

I kinda like the look of the filler,  I hope they come out soon.
