other then milling are  there any epoxies or maybe j b weld i can use to fill the mopar brand on a set of the E heads. going to paint engine color and want to get rid of the mopar scrip and part # on front of head.

Personally I would weld aluminum over it and grind it flat and pretty.
Another option is block-filler as that won't go anywhere.
J-B is an option, but not a good one in my opinion, you will see that in a year methinks.

You defininitely will want to fill and grind smooth or you will have to remove a lot of material.  Why do you want to paint the edelbrock heads?  It will hold in more heat with the paint.

hi robert, i am building another A12 car but i wanted to use some new tech. in this engine plus lighten the front end up on this road runner.got the alum water pump housing and pump also.the heads are a good performance addition plus help some on the weight .my stock show poodle is fun to drive with awesome power so i figure this engine will flat rock.i want it to look as original as possible thus the markings.everything on engine gets painted . no chrome except vent cap on left valve cover which is chrome from factory on the 6-bbl cars. like my other car i have the hemi 4-sp and 4:10 dana.

You don't think you can fool the A12 crowd do you?  Man, those guys are detail freaks!

jerry

not trying to fool anyone.i am one of those guys and have been since 1969 and i agree with you.even though there aren't alot of these cars left ,to me you've seen one you've seen them all.i have a turn key show poodle and it will stay that way. i am building another a12 for a fun car to look stock as possible but add some new technology.loosing weight both inside & outside of engine, radial red line tires will all help in handling and add hp to an allready fine factory built muscle car.i am not building a strip car only street and highway and the way i figure it if my other car sits me back in the seat the way it does then another 100 hp should give me a real thrill. shifting that hemi 4-sp with the 4:10 factory dana on pump gas.won't know till i get it together.

I used JB Weld to fill the "Weiand" logo on my poly intake.  That was in '96 or so, and it's still good to go.  Even been sandblasted once and no problems from that either.
