I am well into the resto of my 1969 Dodge Charger.  As mentioned in other posts, it is originally gold with a tan vinyl top and tan interior.  I have decided, after much discussion, to paint the car white, and install a black vinyl top and black stripe.  The car is i great shape.  I have agreed to a price to paint the car, which involves me having the car stripped.  The two front fenders have bubbled and after some investigation, it looks like some very old body fill has gone gummy and started to bubble.  It only happened on the front fenders, so I have to strip the front fenders and engine bay to the metal.  As you can see, I am hard at it already.....

Well, its got a 383,727 combo in it now. Of course, unoriginal.  It is an original R/T which had a 440. I am keeping my eyes open for a 440.  But for now I am going to simply freshen up the current 383 with new bearings, timing chain etc. With the paint job and after paying for all the chrome refinishing, moneys getting tight.  the 440 transplant will happen in a couple of years.

Looks like you're well on your way! Good job.

Shawn, do you have the fendertag or the Broadcast sheet for the car?
Have you registered the car yet?  The reason I ask is because I do not have any Y4 gold cars with a tan vinyl roof in the registry......

The fender tag and build sheet are missing. However, the vin reads XS29L9D282681.

Time for an update.  Its been a long winter of sanding and stripping parts.  Its taking longer than I thought but the car is off to the bodyman to be painted.  Heres some updated pics of it just before it left.
