I got my 3" exhaust put on yesterday and got quicktime electric cut outs installed with a switch under the dash. I have had the police stop by my work once already...not to tell me to turn them off but saying they sounded really good! :o he said I could run them in the industrial park cause there were no sound laws there, BUT not to open them in town any time cause I would get in lots of trouble. This has to be the funnest thing I have done to my car yet. My exahaust sounds aggresive but not too loud but the cut out open it to a new world! I can also feel a difference in performance open and closed and open is the way to go.

haha arnt they fun? i have the ones with the wing nuts so i have to take them off manually. but every once in a while i open them up for my friends and do a burnout, no cops after me yet but quite a few angry neighbors.

Which brand did you use? Do they leak at all or seal well? I'm looking to do this on my 60 Plymouth.

they seal well....for about a week. thats the only downside, but its well worth it to me. ive never used cilicone so im sure that would seal it up tight.

I looked them up on the web. Nice looking product - I think I will order a set. Thanks for the info.
