if you already have your headliner in how do u secure the emblem to the car?

or can i just use a 3m glue and leave the back studs in the car but unsecure!

You may want to undo your headliner back there & mount them the right way, I know that sucks.
I wouldn't trust glue to hold those on for very long. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

:iagree:    if you are care full you might be able lift the sail panel board away  enough to get your hand in there , with out removing too much of the liner

On one of my 69 SE emblems I used push in type lock nuts made for holding emblems on so I didn't have to take back the headliner do put on the pal nuts, they have held great for many years.

studs assembly use a snap on clip inserted on hole. I think some restore dealers sell them
