:iagree: But goofy-looking features that are easily replaced are no big deal. It's when they paint it pink or chop the wheel wells or something that makes it hard to deal with.

1968 Charger -currently spread all over my garage!

From the original owner? I bet that guy is feeling a little sad today. :-[  I'm sure you're not, though. ;D

That's sure a clean looking specimen, congrats!
Looks like that exhaust tip is halfway off anyway, it should be easy to get it the rest of the way off. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

ViperDave

Well she's home safe and sound and tucked away in the garage.  Thanks for all the good comments. I bought it from my brother-in-law's mom sight unseen so I was a little nervous.  It was her first car so I should be able to get full details on the life history.

The exhaust pipe extension piece and mud flaps will be removed quickly.  I'm thinking they'll bring a lot on Ebay.  ;)

Now it's time to start thinking about what to do...time for a new post looking for people in the know in the San Antonio area.

Cheers...

Dave, leave it alone, don't take anything off.  Think about it, the tailpipe extension kept moisture away from the rear valance and the mud flaps kept the paint from being chipped.  I'm going home tonight and tossing my coin collection on the floor.  I've got a lot of change to roll.  I'll pm you with my offer of 30k plus,  I've collected change for 10 years.

I'd love to have it.  But I really think you should show it the way it is.  It is well preserved and should be seen by all.  If it qualifies as a survivor you should consider joining the survivor club.  PM me for details.  Great group of people and you get into the major shows for free :icon_smile_big:
