How much does a 426 wedge motor go 4???

lets say im in the market for a 426 wedge where could i get one and how much do they go for??? something to rebuild would be good i dont want some restored cross ram motor just a plain jane single carb turquoise unit that usually came in trucks

i would imagine a good price ,, i dont know much about htem, but i know they only made them for a few years

They show up occasionally on eBay.   I bought a complete 1964 street wedge engine 4 years ago for $1000, but it was all in pieces.   Before I could get started on the rebuild I found a 426 Max Wedge.  I had no problem reselling the street wedge for the grand that I had paid for it.
