When I was a young kid (18 years old) I bought my first Charger. I wanted to ship from the US to my homecountry Austria/Europe. Due to unexpected financial troubles I had to sell the Charger and I regret it ever since..  So please help me locating my first Charger or to get in touch with the current owner.

Here are some more details:
The car was a WA car and I sold it in Fort Langley/BC in the winter of 01/02. The car was sold by a family friend and unfortunately I never got any info on the buyer. I can provide the VIN of the Charger (PM only). I tried to contact the local Mopar club (Mopars unlimited Vancouver) but never got a response.
It's a 318 auto Charger. As far as I know she still had the original color combo.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Steve

I wish you luck in your search. I had a 69 when I was in high school. I sold it to buy my 70. I wish I had it now in the condition it was when I sold it. It would be great to find your 68 and even better yet to buy it back.

Good luck in your seach and I hope you find it and the seller is willing to sell it back to you.

Good luck! You micht try some of the other Charger registries. Also you might try the DMV for the area it was sold.

Thanks guys!

Do you have any links to other charger registries (especially for 68)?
The DMV search is a good idea - but I'm not sure if the Canadien DMV (BC) offers that service...
But I'll keep trying!

Are there any members from the greater Vancouver area (Langley, Abottsford,...) on this board?

I wish you luck finding your old car...
But if a I were you I would go outand find another like it maybe even a better one It would be easy .
I never went looking for my old car as I didn't think a current owner would sell or it would have been wreaked and parted out in some junk yard, so I went looking for another one just like it.
Just trying to find another car like my original was a feat in it self, I was looking just for a replacement car to one I had when I was 18 due to all the options the car had it took a long time to find another like it over the last ten years  I had found 5 of them one of them I should have bought but cash was tight then then just this past November I found two the same week. I bought the cheaper of the two as it had the most original state with the matching number 440 magnum car. It needs a full restore but I'm up for the challenge.
You may be saying what's so special about a 72 SE ? well how about its a factory U code car with the factory sunroof! Kinda hard to find I have been looking along time.

I play with cars because Jets are way too serious to be fun any more
I have so many car projects that cars are beginning to be no fun any more

Yeah, I think I'll get myself another car - if I can find a good deal (living in Europe doesn't make buying a car much easier..)

I actually don't expect her to be for sale...I thought it would be cool if I can track down the current owner just to see what happened to the Charger in the meantime..I also have some details about the car's history (might be interesting for the owner if he's into that).

Thanks again for the support! You guys are simply awesome!

That would be a lucky find to get that back. It's rare to hear of those stories.
There used to be a kid around here who had a red '68 318 Charger, black interior and buddy seat but it didn't have the black top. Doubtful that was it since I'm sure they made a zillion in that combo.  I tried to buy it from him but he wouldn't sell.

I got pretty lucky to find my '70 GTX in '89 after I sold it in '84.
I wish I could find any of my old Chargers especially my triple green '68 RT. I think it ended up in Idaho but I could never afford it now anyway. I'm
lucky I have the Mopars I have but I'm still looking for another '68 project.

well man, I juts want to wish you best of luck finding your old car again, back when that car was built I bet it sure as heck look nice being red with a black roof. For all you know some duke fan might have gotting it an made it into a General Lee replica by now.. with that said it might be hard to find it then with old photos of the car and with the General Lee paint theme it would look like any General out there.
