Hey anybody in the vicinity of Bear Mountain State park with the ability to get yer butts into a vehicle and head there this Wednesday night.   I'm gonna try to take a half day from work.

A few of us were at Highland Friday night ( including E-booger ) and we're gonna try to make it there for this special 9/11 car show deal.   Here's the poop that I found online.

Brian, I definitely want to come up for that show. I can't understand why they don't have their big show on a weekend? There's no way I can get out of work and get the car there before 7-8pm.

Regardless of my car situation, I want to go but can't find directions anywhere. If I'm coming up the Garden State Parkway, where do I go once in NY? You know I'll vote for your ride if it's spectator voting.

Oh crap.   I thought you've been there before for some reason  :icon_smile_blackeye:    7 or 8 is pretty late... it'd be dark almost - probably not worth the trip.   I have no idea why they have a big show on a Wednesday but they do

I believe if you came up the Pallisades parkway you just head up and get off at 9W/202 but otherwise I end up coming from the NYS thruway coming south myself.    I have to get off the Harriman exit at the toll booths and getting around up and over on 6 to get to the park myself.   Maybe HemiDoug can give you better directions  :P

I got a good almost hour + trip myself from up north.   Maybe it'll be shorter with overdrive this year  ;D   I was hoping I'd be able to head down and check out Chalet E-booger and then head down via 9W perhaps.    1970GTX gets there in the front row every week almost but he heads down direct from work on the 9 side.
