Were all spare tires the standard black steel rim or could you have an optional matching spare like our el camino does?

Next question, was it a gloss black or a semi flat black?  Also, what size would it have been if my car came with F70-14 tires and magnum 500 rims?

Bill, I guess a close match would be what the color of the disc brake booster and master cylinder would be?

Were they black in 1968 too? I seem to remember my original spare rim was a gray color much like the jack. I painted it black and used it in the '69 and never took a picture.  :P
