Does using synthetic gear oil in your differential eliminate the need to use Sure-Grip additive if you have a SG?
Any other advantage of using the stuff?

I use straight Red Line limited slip lube and have never felt any "popping" or "chattering" from the unit.

It runs cooler than conventional lube.
Chrysler recommends it for most of their truck rear ends when used for heavy duty or trailer towing.

Some brands may still need the limited slip additive.
