440 Source Stroker Kit Now on Back Order!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH NO!!!!

Boy, this is bad timing! I called to finally order my 440 to 512 stroker kit this AM and the crank shaft for this kit is on backorder for 2-3 weeks. Just my luck!!! The guy offered the 500CI kit but based on info that Neil and others have provided, I decided to wait till the 512 kit comes in.

I'm bummed out but my wife will be happy as a clam!!!

I hope it is really only for 2-3 weeks.  I've had to wait nearly a year for some parts.

Hell, I ordered a set of Crane cams from Jegs in August, and they didn't come till November.

  I'm in the process of putting a 440 together. Not a stroker, but just the same, I don't think I like where this is going.

typical this time of year , everyone waits til after christmas to order , my kit is on hold for the 3 weeks or so too , tried to get it ordered before christmas But by the time the block was apart to measure it ....

I just reground an EAGLE 4340 4.15 stroke, to 4.250 stroke W/2.200 chev size.

Was easy way to fix  a "new" Crank that had a lousy gring on it from Eagle, and stay with the 6 bolt flange for the Customers parts.

Clearance & Bobweight is done and fine with the Eagle 7.100" Rods.

Might be an option for you guys, to go to your local Crank grind shop, if the wait gets too long ?
or,
maybe Brandon can regrind a few of their 4.15 Cranks the same way, to fill orders ?

It worked for me, don't wanna tell anybody their business, just, time was an issue for me, so I had to keep the guy happy.
"Might" be an option ?
