#5 handguns are not just for hunting...still useful up here

And my last question;

What would you need these for up here?

Guns are not just for hunting. There are a lot of sporting events up here too, competitions, etc. Also, there are a lot of farm robberies around my area. Although I welcome any thieves to come into my yard in the night, I'd advise against it unless you could out run 2400fps.  I could care less if they are actually usefull or not, or if I needed any or not, but it's my right to be able to own one, whether I choose to or not.

Shakey, were you one of the guys to support the gun registry and in fear register all your firearms before the deadline? Just curious. ;D

Farm robberies?   What area of Canada do you live in?   What exactly is being stolen during these numerous farm robberies in your area?   Never questioned anyones right to own a handgun, I am just curious as to why anyone would need one!

If you are a Canadian, which I am assuming you are, then you must be well aware of our justice system.   I highly suggest that if there are any thieves in your yard at night you DO NOT SHOOT THEM as it will be you that will end up behind bars, you should know this.

As far as supporting the gun registry - never paid any attention as I don't own a gun and never will!

As per my original question - there is a difference between need and want!

I don't mind shooting a .50 cal pistol. However I prefer my Century Manufacturing .50/.110 6 shot revovler. If someone decided to break into my house, I don't have to load the gun. Just point it in their direction.

i bought a S&W 460 mag   fires a 200gr bullet @ 2300 fps. thats extremly fast for a revolver and that is a handfull not even a comparision to the .50AE  my friend has one they seem clumbsy not near as much crap as the 460  now the 500 S&W mag thats a bit different almost as much recoil as the 460  but the 500 isnt as fast neither     i vote for the 460    you can shoot 45 long colt  454 casull and the 460 mag ammo out of it  so its very versitile  :icon_smile_big:
