whats up with these heads

All right i was lookn at the heads i have from my 360 and I got the casting number off them and I am confused on what they are.
the numbers i got are  348915
I found out that the block is a 77 and I couldn't see were its ever been apart.
now back to my problem?
I did some searchn on the net and thought the 915 heads were made in 71,72
not 77
Atleast thats what my MP engine manual says.
I don't get how a set of these ended up on a 77 church van
maybe someone can set me straight

did they use steel shim gaskets in these late 70's engines?or was it possible that there was a steel core fiber gasket that was used?like an aftermarket one?I believe thats whats on this one when i took it apart.will have to check agian tomorrow.just wondered

I'll bet the heads have been changed, i had a 71 360 that had the 915s, they are good heads, so i wouldn't worry to much about it, i don't know if they were still made in 77, but i doubt it
