1968 charger R/T
Is the 3/8 inch rubber fuel line compatible with and can be used for the power steering return Line?
I think it can but not sure.
Thank You,
John

It would probably work but not a good idea; some difference in the pressures.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

DownZero

I've done it before. Will work just fine. There's very little pressure on the return side.

Thank you both.
I was trying not to go into an auto parts store here as I found that they ignore PPE, and I may be at risk.
I had the fuel line.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Personally I would not use fuel line on the P/S....different hose compounds.   Id get the correct PS hose

In Vzla EVERYBODY uses the same kind of hose for fuel and oil. Never reported a problem related to that at least
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

I've done it for decades, but for the past 15 or so years, I stopped using regular fuel hose and I've been using fuel injection hose.

I've had enough quality issues in the past with regular fuel hose (on carbureted cars) that I've stopped using it for all things, and I only use 100% gas in my old stuff, so I can't blame it on the ethanol.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

Thanks
I went and got the correct power steering (hydraulic) hose size and material.
