Blown 70, I love that picture you have of your engine. Do you have that in the 70 Charger. I would love to see a picture.  Can I put a blower on a 10-1 engine or would it blow it up ??
i woud keep it round 8-1 myself but i have heard of guys running more than that 8-1. This would be a street driven supercharger if that's what your talking about?

No offence but it all matters on how you are turning the supercharger, IE boost.

no offence taken blown70, isnt that what the forums are about (learning from guys like you with more experience) i only mention what i know and ill be first to admit i have never had a supercharger. I remember reading in a mopar magazine a guy asked dick landy if 10-1 was too high and he freaked out telling him not to run it. Now we know it can be done had acudanut said "should i run 10-1 or something lower" would that have changed your answer? I love superchargers i always say it makes the car look like its on "steroids" along with the tubs, cage, etc too cool...someday maybe     :yesnod:

Blown70

ohh yes but again it also matters on the fuel used.  Meaning you can run a higher starting compression with Alcohol.....

blown70 a question for you since you have a supercharged motor. If you did have 8-1 what octane gas would you recommend? and what if it was 10-1? do the same rules apply to non blown motors? (regaurding octane) or is there something else you have to take into consideration? thanks mike.
