installing wiper linkage??

Is there a trick to installing wiper linkage, I put in new bushings on all linkage but every time I think I have one side on the other pops off,  I thought the straight bar would be real easy and the curved piece that connects to the wiper moter would give me some trouble.  I have yet to get the straight piece that connects the two wipers on :rotz:

By memory i thought their was a special clip,to hold it on once the clips on right, it shouldnt come off.

I thought there was a clip too. I'll be installing mine later today. I'll let you know what i find. :icon_smile_cool:

No clip on mine (74). It just presses into place. Yours may be different. If you have a Year One catalouge there is a diagram showing washers and retainers although its not specific to which models. It may help.

By the way where did you buy the new bushings?
