Piek

hello,

for a Dutch television program about cars we're searching for an original, authentic hemi V8 Ramcharger, like the ones guys like  'Dandy' Dick Landy would race with. Can anyone help us find a car (that still can be used) and its owner for our program. We're planning to come to the States for chooting the program.

You can reach us at piek.seebregts@kro.nl

Thanks a lot!

I'm guessing you mean Hemi Charger not Ramcharger.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

i think he means those mid 60's dodge's that came with the HEMI's i think they were Darts, but i'm probably wrong....
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

RD

he could mean ramcharger or ramcharger II's for that matter, ya know the 413 and 426 wedges  :icon_smile_wink:  the 426 hemi was the ramcharger III

if its a wedge motor you want, there is a 413 ramcharger motor on ebay right now for $1,500.00

Oh, i'm starting to get it now.  I guess it's just the syntax of his original message that threw me.

Forgive my ignorance.  My bad!

But wasn't it filled with Dutch people who were kicked out of Holland and persecuted in England?

OttawaCharger

I think that it was filled with people that originally fled from England to Holland to avoid losing their religion.  Holland didn't work out for them so after some negotiations with England, it was agreed that they'd get land in the new continent -> New England. .. I think.. ???

I thought Piek meant the Ramcharger racing team that ran early to mid 60's Dodges with the Red White and Blue paint schemes.
I think they were Coronets but not sure.
