Now if our own judicial system would work this fast.
:iagree: It's rediculous how many loopholes murders & the like have with our justice system. If they did it, admit to doing it, we have rock solid proof they did it, then kill them! And televise it! :icon_smile_angry: Maybe that would help make it more of a deterrant to someone contemplating doing the same type of crimes. :rotz:

Anyway, I'm glad Saddam's worm food now. Hopefully things start mellowing out over there now & we can get our guys back home soon.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

probably not a good idea to broadcast executions in america.  already too many people opposing the death penalty.  you go showing what it's like to see another human being die (even if he is a scumbag, physiologically, same as you and me) and you might sour the people who are on the fence about it.

Yeah DKN, but like I've told my wife who can't LIVE without that friggin "Survivor" series- that is where I see so-called "reality" programming going...to broadcast a live execution.  Mark my words- I see it happening either on network or cable TV.

There is no "real" in "reality" television anyway- everything you see is edited for maximum effect to get the ratings up.

Yea we are already a wimpy nation as it is. I mean they freak out if it took too long to kill that guy in Florida by lethal injection so the guy took a half an hour to die as opposed to 5 minutes. Now it's cruel and unusual punishment because it took a half an hour for the drugs to do their job. What about his victims? I supposed they would have opted for a painless death as opposed to being murdered at the hands of a killer.

Saddam got off easy, click, rope goes taut and then your dead, I guess it's better than a slow painful death like having your inside being burned out by chemicals dropped from an airplane and watching your child die a slow painful death because some dictator decided to exterminate you by toxic gas.

But remember he was a good guy to the liberals in this country, he kept the country together now it's in chaos....................

I'm glad no one got angry about my statement. I'm GLAD he's gone and I agree with some of you in the fact he went the easy way out. He shoul've been made to suffer the same as those he inflicted suffering on. I really do hope it was Hussein and not a double. I've always been a proponent of public execution, it would seem to deter some from committing crimes. Although in these times in this country, I doubt seriously if a public execution would deter some criminals, i.e. gang members etc. Oh well, on to Bin Laden !!
