8 3/4 seal numbers

anyone know what the seal numbers are for an 8 3/4 rear on a  68 for the inner and outer axle seals?  I got the part#'s off of one of shakeys posts but was wondering if there was a # printed on the seal itself.  I have access to some machinery seals and someone said there may be some I can use.  thanks

Good to see that that thread / photos came in handy.  Now go out and buy the proper ones so we don't read a post on here how you need some parts for your 8 3/4.  I can't recall how much they were but they won't break the bank.

how did I know that would be the first answer , I stopped at one store today and they weren' t able to order them. I am going to try again tomorrow and see what ii can find.  the stuff we have at work is probably better quality than the local parts store stuff so I figured it couldn't hurt to see if there was a cross reference.  I am  going tomorrow to work on the rear end so hopefully I can find something....

Stopped at NAPA and they had two of the seals in stock so I am good to go.  Shakey thanks for the pics, helped out alot with the part #'s.  Matt
