Is it possibly to make 14 inch Magnums into 15's ?

G'day guys,

Just wondering - is it possible to not just widen my 14 x 7 Magnum 500 rims, but to instead turn them into 15's ?
Or does the center have to be enlarged ? Can they make them into 15's by just changing the outer rim ?

Please remember that I'm in Australia, and I can't just go and buy 15 inch Magnums like you guys can.

Yes you can buy a 15 inch rim that takes a 14 inch centre,i had some valiant wheels done many years ago.
I wouldnt do it to your magnums their rare in Australia,just sell the 14,s and buy a brand new set of 15,s.
Its hard in Australia to get someone to remove the centres and even harder to try and get the right rims by memory they were hard to buy already chromed so you will have to get them chromed which is a hard task in itself these days because we do shit chroming work in Australia because of the strict EPA rules.
I can tell you now you wont be happy just go and buy a new set, I bought a new set 15 by 8inch  magnums that came from wheel vintiques they look bloody nice i have tyres on order cant wait to install them.

I got a quote from a place that sells 15 x 8 Magnums fully chromed in the States. Delivered they were cheaper than getting mine widened out here.

Did you end up getting tyres and what sizes did you get ? Are yours 15 x 8's all round ?

Mine came from wheel vintiques i got 15 by 8 all round,my tyres are as follows BF Goodrich TA Front 245 60 Series, Rear 295 50 Series.Car 70 charger Magnum wheels
