Did anyone see in Mopar action page 22 (confusing mag with the pages spread all over the place) where XV  tied the front end together with square tube instead of just the old wimpy sheet metal? I thought this looked like a pretty neat modification to tie the front end together. It looks pretty sharp and unless you were really looking, its not that apparent.  Since that portion of my charger is broken from idiot previous owners I wouldn't mid doing something like that. The good thing is I know a guy who could fab something like that up if I got enough info. So has anyone else done anything like this?

I'm in the same situation that you are.  My lower support is a little mangled too.  Have you been to the XV websight( www.xvmotorsports.com )?  Their brace is only $59.  It seems like  a good deal to me.

Guess I should have looked at the products tab instead of the cars. Thats a pretty fair price from what I see. Its mandrel bent and probably better than anything I could make. I just bought it. I'll let people know what its like when I get it.

My wife called me and said the part came in last week. I will take some pictures of it and post it at the end of the week with a "mock" up of what it might look like.
