I just bought some Eddy heads and these things are nice. I am going to do a stage 1 port and bowl blend and was wondering what head gaskets I should use. Do I use Fel Pro or the Edelbrock gaskets? The Edelbrocks are Steel core laminate. I don't know what the Fel Pros are.

Felpro 1009 composite is the default head gasket of choice.

Unless it's changed very recently,  the P4349559  is 2 1009 Fel pro's in an MP wrapper that saves you about $15  :icon_smile_cool:

Cometic arae a state of the art Multi Layer Steel gasket that can slide without tearing the fibers of regular gaskets like the Fel Pro 1009 with the different expansion rates of the iron block & alum heads , I have used 5 sets of them , none have leaked or failed , if the surface is finished to coarse it can leak in the tiny grooves in the surface but even so would generally seal up after being heated up 2 -3 times
I just order them direct from www.cometic . com
they are also made in the different bore sizes & thicknesses from .27 -.82 to exactly control your compression ratio / quench distance
