Could someone tell me the proper routing for the console wiring on a 68 Charger?   It's missing from my car, and I bought the wiring on eBay, and am awaiting its arrival.   As I recall, the console wiring on my 68 GTX ran across the floor under or behind the driver's seat.  Is that correct for the Charger?   Also, where does the wiring harness connect to pick up the power for the console lights?   Thanks in advance for any help you can provide...Brian

Your 68 Charger will be wired exactly like your 68 GTX, your console wire goes through under your
sill plate, and across under your seat yes the same way. Do you have a open wire coupler behind
you kick panel?

I have the driver's side kick panel off, but I don't see an open connector at that location.  The car has a new wiring harness, if that makes any difference.

It may not be readily visible.  Look around the e-brake mechanism and in between the inner and outer sheet metal portion there.

There is no other empty connector at that location in my car.  There is a separate connector that has a pink & yellow wire on one side, and a pink, yellow, black on the other side.   It powers the dome light.   There is another 6 wire connector with 5 wires inside.   The black one gets powered when the light switch is on.   My guess is that I can tap into these wires for the console lighting.   The NSS switch and the back-up light switch already are working on my car.   Thanks for your help.
