Does anyone have any pics of an original 4 spd hump in a 69 charger? I think  my car was converted into an automatic at some point.Pics of an original automatic floorboard would also help. Thanks guys.

Great . Would you mind sending them over?

bull

I'll post them here because I don't know where 'over' is. :icon_smile_big:

Two more. I hope this is what you need. If you want more let me know because now's the time to get them.

THANKS Bull-itt,great pics.As you can tell I am not very good on the computor. My son is out of town with my camera.I purchased a 69 rt se charger.(my first mopar)It"s been in a barn since 81. It is currently an automatic, but it has the clutch pedal set-up.The area  where the the hump would be is cut out and replaced sheet metal.I have no fender tag.Any info from anyone on how to tell for sure if this was a true 4spd or not would be greatly appreciated .Thanks

I don't think the '69 VINs tell you but you can run it here: http://www.eastcoastmusclecars.net/moparvindec1966_1974.htm

A broadcast sheet will tell you but other than that it might be hard to say for sure. It might also be a botched attempt at converting an auto to a four speed because those pedals can be changed without too much trouble. Maybe someone more adept at these things can weigh in with more solid info than I.

check the pivot braket mount for the Z bar , see if ti looks factory , that & the floor are the only parts that cannot be bolted in

Does anyone have a pic of a factory z bar bracket?

Chryco Psycho

it is welded on the frame rail just inside the Oval hole in the inner fender below the brake master cylinder

PeteBratt

The Z bar bracket is definately factory. It is welded in place and has original paint on it.Is it is safe to assume that these brackets were only on the 4 speed version? Thanks Again .

Chryco Psycho

correct , there was no mount on the frame with an automatic

PeteBratt

Thanks again. That's just what I wanted to here.
