A friend is thinking of getting a '87 Dodge D150 Power Ram. 318/auto. I'm assuming it's a A727, but it may be an A904. Anyways, it's blown to heck, so I was trying to find out what it runs nowadays to rebuild a tranny. He says he'll pull it himself.  Thanks in advance.

unless its a real nice truck, he might be ahead to get one from a scrap yard. I would guess between $500-$650
