American Racing (torq ThrustD) wheel repair?????????????????

Has anyone here  bought a Torq Thrust or any other A/R wheel that looks to have been repaired on the back side? I just bought a new set of four and one of them looks like its been ground on. The dealer says he will replace it, but it will take 2 to 3 weeks because A/R has to examine it first.
