NOS vs Repro Lenses

Just after some advice...

How can you tell the difference between a NOS 68 charger tailight lens and the repro's?

Is it worth springing extra for NOS lenses, or are the repop ones pretty good?

What do you guys think?

Don't know what ther price diffrence is but unless you're going to do a 100 point restoration, never drive it and sell it at Barret Jacksons fro millions I'd go with repros unless the qulailty is noticable diffrent

Unfortunately they don't make repro lenses nor LED conversions for 69s.

So is the general opinion that the repros are so good that NOS ones are not worth trying to find??

Is Charger Specialties the best place to get repro lenses from?

Yes they are probably the best place to get them. I talked to them about there lenses many times. I
am surprised they sell at all, I have several very pitted sets of tail lights, but the lenses are mint. They
say its more of an east coast problem and thats who they sell them to the most, good repo's.
I need to start selling, need the money............

Wasn't someone tooling up to do 69 lenses at one time?  Whatever happened with that?
