Why is it such a problem for people to merge into traffic???

they do that here in fargo too. Thats why i like driving my beater bronco. I just merge. they move.

damn straight i often stick my head outta the window and let them now that i need to get in and if they ignore me then i just cut in, i drive a full size chevy pick up so yeah it has it's benifits, almost got into it with another driver until i stepped out and almost hit me with the car LMAO

What is even more upsetting is people at construction zones. You have signs posted five miles ahead of merging lanes and their are still assholes who will fly past everyone in line. Then when they get to merge they slam on brakes like they had no idea what was going on. So while I sit in traffic only going 20 mph they fly by trying to get in front of line. Lately I have taken to pulling my car or if lucky my wifes 3/4 ton 4x4 half way into the closing lane. But even doing this I've had people go thru median. The best one is when two semi tractors will line up side by side to stop people flying by. If only I had a rocket launcher. Zap no more stupid people who can't read signs and tell there is something on ahead.

As a truck driver the two main things that piss me off are:

#1 the left turners who don't get all the way over into the left turn lane

#2 You wouldn't believe how often this happens but I don't understand why when I have my left turn signal on to move over a lane (ie exit only lane),  cars coming up from behind me pass me on the left only to cut right back in front of me and exit do they not understand that if they would just stay put I would get out of their way and then they could go by me as fast as they want  and they wouldn't even have to switch lanes to exit! I swear it happens daily 

You know that you're in Salt Lake City when slow people drive in the middle, people pass on the right, and the cars in the left lane are trying to exit
