On the MP dist, which wire is + and which is-?

On my MP distributor the black wire is hooked to the negative terminal of the coil.  Hope that helps.

This is the electronic one with the two wire connector coming out of it.  One is gray with a black tracer and one is brown with a white tracer and neither go to the coil, they go to the five pin connector on the ecu.

the 5 pin connector should have the same colored wires at the plug , hook grey to grey & brown to brown
