Powder coating hood hinges?

Anyone here powder coated hood hinges before? How did it work out?

Drop Top

As long as your going Black it works out great. But unfortunately Mopar engine compartments come in more colors then black. Its hard to color match the powder to the origanal colors.

Yea, I'm going with black. It just seems like it would make things easier to have them powder-coated.

Do the springs have to be expanded for it to cover completely?

As long as there is a gap ,  the powder will wrap around

how durable is powder coating? for suspension pieces and what-not?

There is no other coating that is as durable on those items as powdercoat .

No metallic , I have a wide range of color choices so I usually can come close .
