any information how i can tell if this car im buying is numbers matching? where is the vin number on engine thanks jOHN

Welcome John.  VIN #'s were not stamped on blocks till late '68 into 1969.

Technically a '67 car cannot be "numbers matching" engine/trans wise.    Basically you would have to rely on the date coding on the 440 block to be in the 3 month prior to build date window  of the car.
