White Chargers

I am in the process of getting my car ready for paint.  The car is originally gold with a black vinyl top and tan interior.  I realy like white on chargers and am seriously considering painting it white.  Does anyone have pics of white chargers with black vinyl tops?  Also what do you guys think of the white/black vinyl top with tan interior?  Have you seen this before?

There's two '68s on Ebay right now, one with vinyl and one without.

I think three different colors on a Charger looks pretty goofy. If it were me I'd match the interior to one of the exterior colors.

This is a custom color.  I asked the paint store for the whitest white they could make.

theres an old body shop saying.... if it aint right, paint it white..... . white is a sharp color. i was thinking it would be cool to have the body perfect and have people looking for impefections that cannot be found!!!  just a thought that came to mind when i read the thread.     bruce

I had a friend in the rental car business for many years. He normally would order 35 to 60 cars a year. He said no matter what brand of car he ordered each year, the cars people picked were always the same.......all the white cars with red interior would rent first and white cars with blue interior would go next.  All other combos were about equal...........J

On an interesting side note, if you ever want your Charger to be used in a movie don't paint it white. My wife just had an interview with a company that contracts to hire extras for Hollywood production companies and when they talked about hiring people to drive their cars in movies they said they will not use white vehicles.

Trust me, there is nothing boring about 471 Magnum's car.  If the color bores you, don't worry, he won't be beside most cars long enough for them to notice and the taillight panel has all that nice bold black for people to look at.

I've never seen white/black top/tan interior.  I'd think it would be cool.

I have seen white/black top/GREEN interior, though.  My '68 R/T is white/black top/RED interior (stripe delete) and I've never seen another like it.  I've been looking for awhile.

White cars are slick, IMO.  They're 'sleepers.'

OK, if white is kinda boring, what colors would go good with a tan interior?  I dont like red and it will most likely be a black stripe.

seriouslly, I think several colour matches with tan Interior: Black, Bronze, Brown are the best choose IMHO ( of course original Gold too ). Althought you don't like, maybe red. and seriouslly, Hemi orange too. White is a good option but not my fav with Tan.

Green could be also an option

Definitelly not yellow or blue.
