Does anybody know if a 904 converter fits on a 727 trans. A friend of mine got ahold of a 10 in. He would like to use it on his 727/ 360 small block combo in a 79 Aspen drag car. For that matter, how many,if any, parts are compatible between the two.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.

No, 904 and 727 converters won't interchange.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

the valve body & maybe the rear sprag is about all , everything else is smaller & lighter in the 904

Ok, thanks for the info Chryco. I will pass it on to my buddy. I found out he has a 904 and the 727 small block trans I gave him. We will put something together. Thanks again for all you do. And everybody else for that matter. Thats why I stick around. I just hope the info I pass on has some credibility also. :icon_smile_big:
