Question about 71-74 fiberglass bulge hoods?

Ok I was wondering whats the differnce between bolt and pin on fiberglass bulge hoods. Does the bolt on work just like a regular hood and just doesnt come without the front pin holes? Because I would like be able to get them to bolt on regular and have the pin holes on front so curious which one to get?

The bolt on you use with the hinges.The Pin on uses 4 Hood Pins and no hinges.
