Lemon law advice

The fine products produced at Chrysler these days have led me to the conclusion I need an attorney to remedy the ongoing problems my wife is having with her minivan. This thing has been to the dealer countless times for automatic side door problems. I know New York state law requires a certain number of incidence within 18,000 miles to consider a car a lemon. Is there a statute of limitation on the car after 18,000 miles? The van is a 2003 Dodge GC Sport. The body seam above the side entrances cracked and was shoddily repaired at a local body shop. Do I have any recourse with this thing or am I screwed? The car is making noise again. The side door would pop open when parked on a hill. It would pop open on flat ground too. It never happened driving. The 'module' was replaced numerous times.

probably no recourse if someone already tried to screw with it,at least thats how i was told.how many times was it at the dealer, and was it always for the same thing?have you ever tried to have another dealer look at it?theses are the questions a rep will ask if you try to get a vehicle lemon lawed.i have been envolved in a few cases, and had testify once.it is not an easy process, and you have to follow the procedure or it will be even harder-pm me if you have any questions,i am a dodge dealer-andy

I can't imagine you would have a chance with a part that has been modified/repaired.
