OK, I finally got mostly of my needed/wish list at home ( months since I started ) parts I got are harness and stuff to interlock sytem HOWEVER:

The harness I got has the 8 terminals plug with 7 wires. No prob since thats the same set up I have on underdash harness at passenger kick panel plug.

Then this wire runs down the carpet and has:
First spliced "arm" a 4 wires spade plug. It should be as far I know a 2 prongs spade terminal that plugs with passenger bucket sensor with only 2 wires.
Second spliced "arm" is a 4 wires bullet plug. Same as above it shoud be a 2 wires one that plugs on to the female passenger seatbelt buckle sensor.
Third and last "arm" is 2 wires bullet kind plug that perfectly matches with my 2 wires bullet plug to the driver side female seatbelt buckle sensor.

My guess is that this harness is to front bench or buddy seat set up, BUT I don't know If this harness will work or not. I don't know really if this harness will work just using the right plugs to match Or do I have to find some intermediate harnesses to make just a plug and play set up without need to modify anything.

PLUS the diagram I have is not enough good or clear... If somebody has a better scanned diagram about this section will be great...

EVEN BETTER if somebody has the intermediate harnesses of it does exist please let me know.

ANYTHING WILL BE GREAT.

I already have all the parts of the interlock set up:
reset button.
Control box.
harnesses/plugs related ( with this doubt exception )
FUUUUUULL buzzer control, and a spare NOS one( key in, lights on, seatbelt light and buzzer warning signals)
The right buckets and female seatbelt buckles with sensors. plus spare bucket sensor.

Ok I found by PN on my catalog the harness I got is to bench seat set up. I think I can use it without problem. So I need a clearer diagram to know wich wire goes to what section of bench to know which wires use to the right side bucket and belt buckle and pass over the centers.

Please 74 owners WITH BUCKETS, just a question... How many wires and what colors do you have on the undercarpet harness that plugs on passenger side kick panel to underdash harness.

Hey ppl, another option it could be just look at the bottom of the passenger side bucket and check the wires arriving to seat sensor and to passengers female seatbelt buckle sensor.
One of the passenger seatbelt buckle sensor wires is gray for sure, the other one is orange or red.
The passenger seat sensor it could be a pair conformed for:
dark green, white, tan, Gray...

The other pair is to center seat sensor. but wich one to wich one ? shame the diagram is not so clear.

OR IF YOU FIND A BETTER SCANNED DIAGRAM ??? this is the only section bad scanned diagram of all the 74, and the one I need more...

C'mon guys, is just check down your passenger seat to check wires arriving to seat sensor and female buccle sensor, and maybe compare with how many wires you have arriving on plug behind the passenger kick panel

I'd help you out if I could Nacho but my car is at a storage location - if I find the time this weekend I will try to take some pix but I won't be taking the seats out or anything. I could take the pics of the wires under the seat and see what I can get from the receptacle - would that be enough?

yes of course, I just need to decode what seat sensor pair of wires match with what female belt buckle sensor pair of wires. I mean, If I do it wrong I could match the center seat sensor wires with the passenger female seatbelt buckle wires and car could never start, and maybe I would think is the control box damaged, or who knows. I would drive crazy trying to find the problem.

is your car front buckets ? with buddy seat ? I'm asking since I noticed your car is column shifter and your harness could it be the same than the one I have what is to front bench, and if that's the case, I would get nothing LOL.

I don't really know if buddy seat cars are plugged on same way of front bench cars since they have also a CENTER SEAT sensor, but we will discover LOL. The harness I got use a 4 terminals plugs to wire both center and passenger system ( on seatbelt buckles and seats itself ) with same plug. That's the reason I need to know the wiring colors from buckets cars and match the right combination...which one with which one.

any help will be apreciated.

Ok here is some pics about the front bench undercarpet harness I have to seatbelts sensors. I don't have dig camera, these are pics sent by another member trying to help me. This is a front bench harness, maybe the same ( not sure ) than buddy seats harnesses.

-first pic: general view of harness.

-second pic: detail of plug located on kick panel passenger side. here start the doubts. Does the buckets kind ( without buddy seat ) has same quantity and color of wires ? sure plug is the same since underdash harness plug is the same to every seat setup, but just that some wires on this plug can be OMITED to front buckets cars.

-third pic: Plug to seat sensors, ( back view ) 4 wires, two for center seat and two for passenger seat sensor. I need to identify wich ones are for passenger seat sensor and of course then the other pair will be to center sensor . HERE is the point I need help because...

-4th pic: plug to female belt buckle sensors. Gray wires are a commong ground, but orange and red are one for one or another buckle. ( center or passenger ) THESE are the wires I need to make work with the seat sensor, to be right sensored by control unit.

On buckets harnesses and MAYBE on buddy seats cars, this 4 wires plugs are or it should be separated on different plugs, 2 wires for each plug... and passenger seat plug is completelly different kind plug althought same spade kind terminals.

Driver side seat sensor ? are you sure is driver side ?

As far I know driver sides never came with sensors, just on belt buckles because is obvious when you start the car allways there is a driver sat on bucket.

Ok great now I know red wire with gray is PASSENGER buckle sensor, THAT'S AN ADVANCE.

The buddy seat note you mentioned is the SEAT SENSOR itself or the buckle sensor ? those green wires it looks to come from sensor and not from harness I can't do to much with that.

Anyway I GOT AN ADVANCE with that, GREAT

Yeah, the first two pics are from the drivers side, one is the seat sensor hookup laying on the floor because it is disabled. The other one went to the female buckle.

If you look close at the 3rd pic you can see that the double green wires go into slit in the soft seat belt strap which is for the buddy seat. I'm not a hundred percent sure because I was pretty upset because my battery was dead or there was a dead short somewhere. The car was fine last week, now it's dead. It's all your fault!  :icon_smile_big:

I'll double check again when I go to figure out what's wrong with the car. Hopefully tomorrow.

Here is the pic of the passenger side sensor. I first thought that pile of crap in the second picture meant mice were camping out in my car. I was pretty alarmed but then I remembered that it was from a candy bar from long ago that disintegrated when I tried to pick it up. lol.

DAM GREAT PICS AND HELP BUDDY!!! the passenger side sensor wires coming from carpet, and the second one of buckles are the ones I did need

Check to be sure down your car but the one you think is for drivers seat sensor it must be the center seat sensor coming from driver side floor board. As far I know, drivers seats doesn't have sensor since by default ALLWAYS will be a driver there that ALLWAYS will need fasten the seat belt. I don't think your driver seat has a sensor, is the center seat.

Checking the 4 wires plug I posted and the ones you sent me ( I made a collage compairing ) colors are exactly the same... 1st pic.

On second pic the 4 pics plug to buckles sensors consist on 2 grays, red and orange, being the grays a common ground . And the pic you posted with red wire are you telling me is the passenger buckle, so center seat it must be orange and gray.

THIS WAS A GREAT MOVE...  :2thumbs: :boogie: :engel016: just to yourself, check the plug you say drivers seat  :scope:  it should be center seat. Drivers doesn't have sensor.
