random engine question

would one of them crate 360 magnums fit into my 73? cuz i would really like one of those engine , and if they do wat will i need?

It will fit like a glove, you will want a small block 727 for that 360, unless you have one already  great engines.

ok thank you , just wondering, and i already knew about the tranny, just wanted to know if the engine would fit ,


....cuz i think someone told me on hear that the k members were different on 73 and 74, but its all good

if you have a 318 the  left engine mount will be different
the Crate 360s are not all that powerful though

i think its powerfull enough, i know im not going to be pull 11's et but its better than the 318

they run OK & have a warranty so it could be a good choice for you
I tested a 395 Hp on a dyno & it pulled 218 RWHP , decent but about the same as a 8:1 compression 383 with a cam & 4 bbl

yea i know, but i dont really know where to get a 383 or  a 440, plus of gas mileage reason,,,,,,and yes i know its not that much of a difference, but, there was a guy in the forum , i think it was "torque" he said he had a shop here in Az , and that he would show it to me, but i never heard from him again,
