I was cruising around the back of town the other day, when I saw this out of the corner of my eye. (A '70 Coronet, I think?) I turned around and drove past it and had my friend snap some pics of it with my cell phone. I've been through here many times, but I've never noticed this car because it's usually fully concealed by the cover, which I guess had simply been blown off today. It looks pretty nice from what I can see. Check it out!

Yeah man! I like them too.

Update:

The other day I actually saw the car driving around! Amazing. I've never seen it before and now I see it twice in such a short period! It looked pretty nice. It has a rust spot on the roof, but other than that nothing crazy bad. It had some big pipes sticking out the back and sounded nice!

Reminds me of how I found my 68 R/T. After a particularly windy weekend, the car cover blew off and I was able to finally see exactly what this forgotten old veteran was parked at that vacant house, surrounded by a fence to keep me out. (I knew it was a 2nd gen all along due to my highly tuned Char-dar.) But when I got a look at that faded yellow paint, peeling black vinyl roof and worn rear bumblebee stripes I knew it had to be mine! A few calls to track down the owner and 3G later, I was driving it home. I still get excited.... :icon_smile_tongue: :yesnod:

You drove it home?  how cool is that!  not too many people do that anymore.... especially for $3k.

Yea and to consider that it wasnt all that long ago (late 2003) I do consider myself blessed. Had been kinda looking for a 2nd gen since 81 or so, and seriously looking since the mid 90's. Just proves, they are out there, just gotta be committed to searching for them... :icon_smile_wink:
