how much is a set of 429 ford heads worth? I was looking in a free press and their was a auto parts auction and these would be the only reason to go to it.

ok, so,..  hows your 300 H search doin?.  ;)

mustanghater

some guy emailed me about one but it turned out to be a stock 300. on moparts a guy  near me said their was a black 300 with 300H parts on it for $3800. it has a 440-4speed with a hurst shifter. it has a lot of rust and isn't worth it. I'll try to buy the hood and trunk lid off of it.

They can go for anywhere from $100 for junkyard heads to $400-$600 rebuilt, ready to bolt on.  Thats' for reg. and Cj heads.  If they are Boss 429s, you're talking MONEY.  OEMs are getting hard to find and new Al. ones go for$4000- $8000
Not a Ford Guy.  Just asked a buds, that has a Boss 429 Stang.
