Trans bolt pattern question...

I've heard the V-10 is essentially a 360 with two extra cylinders added in, so does this mean that the v-10(both Viper and truck) share the same bolt pattern as a Small-block?  If so, would this mean that the Viper's T56 can bolt onto a 318/360?

The V-10 has a different bolt pattern than the small block or big block.

My aged memory banks were telling me someone was making an adapter to mate the Viper T-56 to BB and SB bellhousings and I finally remembered.

They're made by DoctorDiff, contact him at   http://members.aol.com/doctordiff/

neat! I wonder how much it'll run me for a RB bellhousing...

From what I understand the adapter allows use of the original factory bellhousing, it fits between the T-56 and the bellhousing.

Never heard a price.

fits between it? wouldn't that cause a problem with the input shaft not being far enough in?

The front of the T-56 is a somewhat unconventional configuration, even in the Viper it has a separate adapter plate, so making an adapter to fit it to a conventional bellhousing isn't all that difficult.
