That pad hit $236 last week and still didn't meet reserve.  Too rich for my blood... ::)

Didn't a company already try to reproduce those medallions and get shut down by Dodge or something?

HDCharger

Charger Specialties did reproduce those and Chrysler Corp made them stop so now we don't have any.  I don't understand it.  Wish I'd got some before they had to stop.

I just ordered some, they still have some left.

They made new medalion inserts at Charger Specialties, they are thicker and better than the first ones
they came out with then got shut down. The new medalions look exactly the same as the first ones
they came out with but better. Plus since they got shut down on them before they are not advertising
the new ones.
I have been trying to tell people that the 68 Charger lettering on these came black from the factory, but some
people don't believe me, the NOS medalion above proves it....

68 RT

I have noticed the black painted ones are mostly on 68. And that 69--70 are not painted black. I have bought several 68 and 69-70 upper door pads. Most of the 68 charger script was black but none of the 69-70. Just an observation. My 68 has black charger script.  ;D

Dude, my 500 will have black text just like that :)

Dan, you are THE '68 dude...  What other little things like this are there that you know about???

Wait just a second!  I may be WAY off in left field on this one... but I didn't think you could get tan interior on a '68 Charger??  Am I 110% completly wrong on this one?

Ya know Eastwood makes a kit to allow you make mold of stuff like that and reproduce those types of parts. You could start a small cottage industry selling those black market style
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a convenience store NOT a government agency!

Tan interior was available.  If it's not on the color chart, then something is wrong because I've seen pleanty of '68s with Tan interior.  Even a "survivor"...

JimShine

Tan interior is called "Gold" in 1968. I have seen three 1968 Chargers with odd pad emblems. Rather than having the split up red ring around Charger, the three segments were red, white and blue. I guess people could have painted them like that though.

Strange.  Guess I was wrong.  Well then where can I get a set of '68 pleated seat covers in the tan/gold color?  I have checked the Paddock, Year One, and I do not recall Legendary offering it either.  Thanks.

Legendary has the regular Tan seat covers for the 68 color, and if you want it completely correct they
have some NOS material to make it absolutely original correct, witch is the way I am going to go.
It will cost about $150.00 more for them to make up the covers with the NOS material.
