Im kind of new to chargers, i know they came with 2 different 3 speed automatics and a 4 speed manual, but recently I've been seeing something that has caught my interest. It's a 3 speed automatic but you shift it on your own, so its baically a cluchless manual, I've seen this on 3 out of 4 chargers that I've seen at shows in the past 2 weeks, was this one of the stock transmissions of was it aftermarket, and if so what is it?

well if you are going by what it looks like in the car (the shifter)    you are probably seeing a B&M Shifter of some sort...          if you are talking about how it functions you could be meaning a manual valve body which requires manually shifting every gear.   :2thumbs:

Actually I also saw it in a chevelle the other day also, and just found a picture in a chevelle. It has park, reverse, neutral, 3,2,1. No drive, that would make me think it works like a powerglide where it is an automatic but you shift it yourself (essentually being a clutchless manual), only it has 3 speeds as opposed to 2 in a powerglide.
