Amazing work as always! My hood does the same thing. After I close it, I need to push down the passenger side rear corner.

Yeah I think its a common problem as those springs are really strong and I think the reason the teeth wear out.

So I had an issue with my trunk lid not fitting.

Some time after fixing my trunk lid I got the dana 60 in the car












** NOTE TO SELF **

Next time mounting a rear end in the car make sure after finishing, you put jack stands under the axle!!

This almost ended badly as everything was ok until I was leaning on the rear of the car and I felt the car beginning to do a wheelie!
(Thank you Lord) Everything was ok, as it barley lifted.
Needless to say I quickly relocated the jack stands!

easy done  front end is so light on these when stripped down 
i done the same thing twice    no damage either time  first time when stripping the charger down , i went one stage further & was climbing in the trunk to remove the trunk lid torsion springs  last things as i had already stripped it down to a empty body shell , that was scary , then 3 years later after i done the resto  just started  putting the charger back together  week after i painted it lent over the rear taill light  panel , to get the freshly painted hood hinges & hardware in the trunk 

sorry for the mini hi jack but just a warning to other guys how easy these things can happen
